Radio Racyja has published an interview with Anatol Mikhnavec, one of the leaders of Belarusian Christian Democracy and Deputy Speaker of the Coordination Council, who founded the patriotic sports organisation Krai in Belarus in the late 1990s.
The leaders of Krai regarded members of the legendary Belarusian Christian Democracy of the interwar period - the priests Vintsent Hadleuski, Adam Stankevich, Fabian Abrantovich and others - as their heroes.
Krai members saw the study of Belarusian history, prayer and the Christian worldview as the foundation of the national movement.
