The first meeting of the Executive Board of Belarusian Christian Democracy took place on 3 November.
As a reminder, following the Congress on 24 October, the BChD National Council formed an Executive Board of 17 members.
The Executive Board discussed the results of the Congress, new members joining BChD, telephone outreach to supporters and initial recommendations for members.
In particular, these include inviting new people to join BChD; a call to visit Catholic pastoral communities, Orthodox and Protestant Belarusian communities, families and associations of people from the same hometown or region in order to expand the party; using BChD flags to ensure a visible presence at street actions or public events; and taking part in BChD campaigns concerning legal residency abroad, party registration, Belarusianisation, informing Belarusians in Belarus and the first political actions.
The Executive Board invites members and supporters to join BChD’s Telegram channel, website and YouTube channel. It also asks them to identify the main problem that BChD could resolve or to propose a campaign of their own.
Telephone outreach to BChD members and supporters on all lists has begun.
